The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle and the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, today September 3, stormed Sokoto state to coordinate an offensive against bandits in the state following a directive by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Worried by the several attacks by bandits in the state which has led to loss of lives and properties, the President directed the Minister to carry out an offensive that will put an end to the attacks by bandits in the state.
A video shared online showed the Minister dressed in Military camouflage as he arrived the state accompanied by the Chief of Defence staff and other military chiefs.
