A closer examination of the proposed budget reveals that the EFCC has earmarked ₦808.7 million for fueling its vehicles, alongside ₦462 million for refreshments and meals in the coming year.

Similarly, the DSS plans to spend ₦1.37 billion on vehicle fueling and an additional ₦1.4 million on tactical counter-terrorism equipment.

The budget also includes ₦1.4 billion for the procurement of arms and ammunition, as well as ₦1.1 billion for advanced cybersecurity tools.

In a broader context, the DSS, along with other agencies under the Office of the National Security Adviser, has allocated ₦960 billion in 2025 for maintaining national defence aircraft and procuring security equipment across multiple sectors.
