Video: D’banj entertains commuters on BRT bus, gives out gifts
Veteran singer, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, known professionally as D’banj has surprised the residents of Lagos as he gives them a free concert in a BRT bus.
The “Oliver Twist” crooner who released his new album The Entertainer D’Sequel took to the street of Lagos to entertain it’s resident. The singer who has been under the radar for some time now came back with a thrilling album.
D’banj’s trip, which fell on the same day as the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Blue Line celebrated its opening, served as evidence of both the city’s expanding infrastructure and his desire to establish a personal connection with his followers.
As he traveled from the Leventis bus stop to the Marina train station, and then on to the National Theatre station, he was met with enthusiasm and admiration from fellow passengers.
A clip showed him dancing with an elderly woman while other passengers sang a track from his new album.
